A combination of my weathered bone finish with a cratered rustication makes for an interesting "Moon Rock" finish and I look forward to creating more. An Ivory stem and swirled grey shank accent complete the composition. Not the easiest to photograph though!

A fun take on the rhodesian with it's stretched cap and almost horn like curve. A half saddle stem seemed the perfect way to continue the gentle sweep of the shank.

Long shanked sweeping rhodesian, one of my favourite shapes though not the easiest to make. Wavy grain that shows an interesting pattern on the sides and pronounced birdseye top and bottom. Light brown smooth finish with amber stem.

A slightly different take on the wax drip that came about through my experimenting. I am calling it the tar drip. Looking back I might have gone a bit over the tip with the carving, but its definitely a different look.

A piece of aged briar from the Tilshead factory inspired this freehand. Based on the old 70's freehands with their double plateau rims I have tightened up the shape slightly making it a little more modern.
