A pretty classic billiard shape, good size chamber and proportions. Two tone rustic finish with a smooth rim gives it an interesting look and feel but the real star of the show is the horn stem, pictures really do not do it justice.

My own Devil Anse shape but in a finish I have not done before, rusticated. The shank left smooth for some contrast. Absolute killer horn stem on this one, beautiful colours and patterns, especially when held up to the light, makes for a very traditional, almost ancient feel to the pice.

Long shanked sweeping rhodesian, one of my favourite shapes though not the easiest to make. Wavy grain that shows an interesting pattern on the sides and pronounced birdseye top and bottom. Light brown smooth finish with amber stem.

A very delicate little black bamboo shanked cutty. Incredibly thin and light but with a very large bowl capacity. Beautiful grain on the natural finish bowl, a really lovely piece that will be hard to part with.

A slightly different take on the wax drip that came about through my experimenting. I am calling it the tar drip. Looking back I might have gone a bit over the tip with the carving, but its definitely a different look.

Born from a recent conversation at a show, a pocket sized footed cutty. Lovely subtle natural finished blast with a touch of plateau on the rim.

A piece of aged briar from the Tilshead factory inspired this freehand. Based on the old 70's freehands with their double plateau rims I have tightened up the shape slightly making it a little more modern.
A lovely lightweight but large bowled pipe with a great blast. Cumberland stem.

Lovely little billiard/pot in a group 1 size. Beautiful honey colour briar with delicate grain, flush fitted sterling silver band and a black stem, a modern classic.

An unusual one for me, a wax drip pipe. Poker bowl gives the appearance of a church candle slowly melting, combo finish of polished smooth and sandlbast for extra texture and a hint of plateau at the base. Cumberland accent and stem. I really like this pipe.

Morta volcano sitter, a striking piece. With it's long flared shank and chunky sterling silver ring it seems to almost defy gravity but it's wide base holds it firm.

Pictures say it all really. Weathered bone nosewarmer with umm Pink and Pink! It certainly makes a statement and was great fun to create.
