Messing around having fun really on this one, and I think it turned out well, even if it did turn out very tricky to make. Sort of fig shaped, but symmetrical, good size chamber and a gorgeous dark horn shank extension. (Please note, not a sitter.)

Not put a #55 up for a while and this one I have played around with the proportions a little. Quite a tall stretched bowl and a very pronounced chin. Very light for it's size and the emerald green stem is simply stunning.

Magnum sized Morta billiard. Shank is locally grown bamboo and has some beautiful natural colouring. Fits nicely in the hand which is good as it's not a clencher!

Natural finished rustication of a darker piece of briar is complimented perfectly with the caramel honey tones of a horn stem.

A fun take on the rhodesian with it's stretched cap and almost horn like curve. A half saddle stem seemed the perfect way to continue the gentle sweep of the shank.

Long shanked sweeping rhodesian, one of my favourite shapes though not the easiest to make. Wavy grain that shows an interesting pattern on the sides and pronounced birdseye top and bottom. Light brown smooth finish with amber stem.

A slightly different take on the wax drip that came about through my experimenting. I am calling it the tar drip. Looking back I might have gone a bit over the tip with the carving, but its definitely a different look.

Born from a recent conversation at a show, a pocket sized footed cutty. Lovely subtle natural finished blast with a touch of plateau on the rim.

Pint sized little nosewarmer in Morta. Compact, fairly delicate in style with a slightly smaller than normal chamber too. Lovely purple striped stem.
